Fuji syusuke, a tennis prodigy at the age of fifteen was staring at the tennis court with intensity which could easily make one flinch at the sight of it.

"Ne, Fuji! What are you looking at?" A high- pitched voice disrupted him from his current affairs.

"Eh! Ah...Eiji, is anything the matter?" Fuji replied nonchantlantly.

"Fuji! I was asking about what caught your attention just now!" Eiji whined.

"Eh.. Iie, it's nothing!" Fuji answered in a serene manner.

"USO! you were looking at it just a moment ago!" Eiji argued earnestly.

"Saa..." Fuji mentally blocked out his friend consistant whining voice.

A few hours later...

"Ne, Tezuka!" Fuji said as he approached the latter.
"Hn.." Tezuka nodded in acknowledgement.
"How is Echizen faring?" Fuji asked nonchantlantly.
"Fine, why?" Tezuka looked at Fuji skeptically.
"Nande mo nai!" Fuji replied.

"Fuji, are you interested in him?" Tezuka asked as his heart was overwhelm with jealously.

"Eh, what makes you think so?" Fuji asked curiously.

"cause' you are always asking about him!" Tezuka replied calmly.

"Saa... what if I tell you that I'm interested in you!" Fuji blunted out.

For a moment, Tezuka was stunned. However, it disappeared almost immediately. without warning, Tezuka turn Fuji around such that the latter faced him, cupping both hands on Fuji's face. He kissed Fuji gently on the lips, first possessively then passionately.

"Still the same, not much improvement..." Yusuke answered tiredly.

"I'll change shift with you , go back home and rest" Kurama suggested.

"No, it's my fault that she's in a coma ..." Yusuke voice trailed off.

"But,you're not helping her in this condition..."Kurama tried to persuade Yusuke.

{end of flashback}

Kurama advances towards Yusuke when he sense no response from the latter.

"What are you thinking about?" Kurama voice drew Yusuke out from his daze.

"Huh? Nothing..." Yusuke denied the fact that he'd been thinking about the past.

"Don't try to deny , you're thinking about it again, isn't that so?" Kurama asked.

with a defeated sigh,Yusuke turn in his seat such that he faced kurama,"Nothing could escape from you ... true indeed..."

"Yusuke,you've got to stop blaming yourself for what had happened to Keiko! It's not your fault...she wouldn't blame you .. i trust that she would not want to see you in such a state as well!" Kurama pleaded Yusuke.

"I know, but i couldn't help it..." Yusuke answered.

"I know, whatever it is ... I'll be right by your side!" Kurama assured Yusuke.

"Yeah... I'm aware that you're always here for me..." Yusuke answered gratefully.

They shared a look and smile as they held each other in a warm embrace.

"UNYAH!..." Kikumaru Eiji let out a frustrated wail.

"Do shita no?" Fuji asked with traits of concern lurking in his voice as he turn and look over to his hyperactive boyfriend.

"Fuji! could you please tell me why must it be today?"Eiji answered in a high- pitched shiek.

"Eh! Eiji, what do you mean?" Fuji asked calmly.

"Fuji!" Eiji answered in exasperation, "What else, but the stupid, idoitic, annoying, irritating and troublesome chemistry lessons!"

"Ah..." Fuji answered knowingly, they had been together for months now but he still couldn't help about the fact that Eiji still managed to amuse him at times.

Fuji was jerk out of his reverie when he heard the latter whine.

"Well, Eiji it's not that bad..." Fuji let his voice trail off as Eiji once again was grumbling about the lesson.

"Fuji, you don't know about it! you weren't even taking the lesson!" Eiji continue to grumble while Fuji tuned out to the rest of the speech.

The bell rang signalling for the upcoming lesson, Fuji asked before leaving Eiji alone and headed for his physics lessons.

"Eiji, if you didn't like the lesson for today, why did you even come to school?" Fuji asked as he raised his eyebrow slightly.

"Of course, I come to school for the sake of tennis practise!" Eiji answered before heading to the chemistry lab for his lesson.

Reaching the chemistry lab with a feeling of dread and dragging his feet, he stepped into the room with a heavy heart.

it was mid-afternoon, a raven hair boy was pretending to be absorbing in practicing his shooting skills. Despite the fact that the Rukawa's Bridgade is cheering for him, he still missed his shots subsequently. Although, this is something rare for him, he still did not even bother to take his time for aiming before shooting as he was staring intently at a particular red head across the court practicing his dunking skills.

"It's a wonder for someone to actually believed that the red head is a beginner in basketball" He thought to himself. He almost smile but he managed to caught himself in time.

"Dunk", another dunking sound rang through the court. Someone clapped at the entrance of the gym. Hearing the commotion, everyone turn and seen Sakuragi, the red head headed swiftly towards the entrance.

"Haruko-chan" Sakuragi said " did you see the dunk i did just now."

Haruko was about to say something, when another dunk is heard. It was none other than Rukawa Kaede, who create that commotion. Haruko suddenly changed into a dreamy mood, thus her eyes turn into heart shape.

"Kitsune!" Sakuragi mumbled and glare at him.

"D'aho" Rukawa mumbled. However inside his heart he felt terrible and pain. 'If only you knew...' he thought to himself, ' If only you knew how much it hurts me to see you going after that girl, if only you knew how much i love you.'

He forced himself to look away from them and went into the washroom to calm himself down. Luckily, he had master the skills of hiding his emotions from others.

A/N: so how does you guys think about this, i know i made alot of mistakes in it. do bear with me as i written this in lesson time, so not well-written. this might be continue if you guys review or i find any ideas to continue. do pardon my arupt ending though as first time writing RuHana fic ne!

Training for Seigaku tennis club had finally reached to an end. As everyone packed up and left, Kikumaru Eiji lingered back in the boys changing room attempting to talk to the vice- captain of the team who’s locking up the club room. Spotting Oishi round the corner, he tried to approached the latter.

“Ne… Oishi…”
“Gomen Eiji, I’m in a rush right now…” Oishi answered and dashes off leaving Eiji standing at the previous spot, not moving an inch.

Eiji looked at Oishi departure figure dejectedly, he had been wanting to talk to Oishi lately but whenever he’s near Oishi, the latter would always cooked up some excuses and left him alone.

Meanwhile, Oishi was on his way home reflecting upon his previous actions.

‘What is wrong with me? Am I being too harsh on Eiji? I didn’t mean to do so but I’m just troubled by all these mixed up feelings whenever I’m near him. I would say that I’d felt love towards him, but how can I tell him this… besides we’re both guys, wouldn’t it be disgusting if he’d known about it…’

unanswered questions swims through his mind, the more he thought about it… the more stress and pressure he felt upon him. The stress and pressure adding up would always cause a migraine to act up.

From afar, Fuji observed the situation and frown. He pondered over the situation for a moment as soon as a frown appeared, it vanishes the next second. He beckoned for Ryoma as to seek the latter cooperation. Initially, Ryoma was reluctant however after several attempting and persuading effort from Fuji had managed to soften Ryoma determination. Both of them then sprang into action deciding what to do the following day , it had finally been decided that Fuji will bring up the topic to Oishi during break time and leaving Ryoma to bring Eiji over to Oishi.

The following day… Fuji headed over to Oishi while Ryoma lured Eiji towards the destination which Fuji had pinpoint.

“Oishi”
“Aa… Fuji, is anything the matter?”
“No… I was just wondering, is anything wrong between you and Eiji?”
“No! Nothing of that sort!”
“But I seldom see the both of you hanging out together, nowadays…”
“Well… that’s partly due to me…”

there was a brief pause from Oishi, before he continue…
“Ne, Fuji! Do you have time to spare?”
“Yeah… why?”
“You see… I was kinda having this feeling of love towards someone…”
“Oh… so is that the reason why you kept your distance from Eiji?”
“Eh…well, partly…”

behind the pillar, Eiji and Ryoma had been eavesdropping, at this statement Eiji had perked up as he had been curious. Knowing Eiji character, Fuji pursue Oishi on the topic.

“Saa… may I know who’s the someone?”
“Eh… Fuji! Well… it’s Eiji!”

Oishi had turned beet red at that last statement, that was when Eiji let out a gasp behind the pillar. Oishi half panicked with regards to how Eiji would react, but he had not been prepared for what he’s going to expect. Eiji lunged himself into Oishi’s embrace, “ you’re silly! I can’t believed you actually avoided contact with me due to this reason…”

“But… aren’t you disgusted?”
“No… why should I felt disgusted at your love confession, in fact I should felt honored”
“But, we’re both guys…”
“Nya… Oishi, are you saying that I should be disgusted at my own thinking?”
“you don’t mean that you… like me as well?”
“of course, I mean that!”

For a moment, Oishi was struck speechless as Fuji watched the reaction on Oishi face he couldn’t help but laugh… shock and disbelief was written all over his face. He suddenly asked “How did you know I was here?”

“Ochibi brought me here…” he point towards Ryoma, however was stunned at the scene unfolding behind the pillar. Fuji and Ryoma was looking with each other intently with love in their eyes, then Fuji pulled Ryoma in for a passionate kiss. Although Ryoma was caught off guard by the sudden show of affection in public, he response whole heartily.

Oishi and Eiji shared a look and smile as they started kissing as well... both thinking ‘ we should really left them thinking that we’re not peeking at them.’

"shsssssss" kaidoh hissed as he frowned at his bento
"Ne kaidoh...why are you frowning?" A voice asked. kaidoh glanced around as he search for the source.

"was it my imagination or did i just heard someone talking to me?" kaidoh mused to himself.
"of course someone is talking to you....I'm over here..." that voice continue as Kaidoh turn his head simultaneously to both sides. Kaidoh turn to the source and was startled to find Inui squatting next to him.

"Eh...what are you doing here,Inui-sempai" kaidoh asked puzzledly.
"trying to find out why you are frowning at the bento..." Inui answered in a matter of fact tone.
"But why would you want to know that?" Kaidoh asked again.
"because...it'll be good data" Inui said as he held his data book up for inspection.

(Kaidoh sweatdrop!)

"But sempai, shouldn't you be in class right now?" Kaidoh interjected before Inui could provide a reason why he need this data.

"True... but i'm more concerned about what's in your bento..." before Inui could react, Kaidoh had dragged him away from the classroom away from curious stares and prying eyes.

Ignoring Inui's protests, Kaidoh practically dragged the latter all the way to the tennis court until he met Oishi and therefore said "Oishi-sempai, please help me send Inui sempai to his class...thankyou!" without warning, kaidoh walk away leaving a bewildered Oishi to deal with the situation and to cope with a hyperactive Eiji who's curious for gossips.

Later in the afternoon during tennis practice...

while everyone was in the court doing warm up, a late and flustered looking kaidoh stumbled into the club room without noticing Inui who's hiding behind a cabinet. kaidoh began changing rapidly, however paused in his task as he notice Inui coming up to him eerily.

"ne, kaidoh..why did you stop?" Inui asked as he move towards the stunned kaidoh. Ignoring the latter confused protests, Inui liplocked kaidoh causing the latter to faint on the spot. Inui purposely left a note saying 'do you like the present i gave you for your birthday?' and left the club room silently.

'oh, poor kaidoh..' when he regained conscious, he was shocked to see the note and thus ended up looking embarassed and troubled whenever he's near Inui. To top it off, he ended up having nightmare every night.

Atobe was frowning as he picked up his calculus textbook, intending to study but find himself failing utterly. The momet he tried to immerse himself into his task at hand, his thoughts would start to drift off.

Although, the diva hate to admit, he knew by heart that calculus has never been one of his strongest subject. he's only willing to make an effort to study calculus for the sake of his stoic boyfriend, Tezuka. Both Tezuka and himself were committed to tennis as they both aspire to become professionals in the near future. Although, they're similar but they are not the same. Tezuka is not just good in tennis, he's good in his studies as well. he'd almost manage to top the school in his level in every subjects. Somehow, Tezuka is always behind Fuji in academic wise. Nevertheless, Tezuka still managed to win Atobe academically if not on the court itself. Atobe on the other hand, achieved better results on the court rather than academically.

staring at the equations, he thought of giving up. For a mere second, he just stared blankly at his alarm clock. knowing full well that even if he were to stared continuously at his clock, the answers would not be presenting itself, anytime soon. With a heavy heart and a resolution in mind, he set off to work trying to foucus and gather his concentration at the task on hand treating it as if it's a set of game in the tennis court.

after several attempts, he totally gave up hope. he found that irregardless of how muchtime he devoted himself to the book of calculus, he would never succeeded in it. it was pointless, he can't even understand the basic concept for locus let alone says answer the question.

he had to admit anything that deals with numbers, he was a goner. This was something Tezuka specialised in, speaking of which, he realised the fact that Tezuka, although liked himself had been blessed with a talent in tennis, had also been blessed with the ability to study. Unlike him, who only lived for tennis and nothing else.

shaking his head with a rueful smile, he reached for his cell phone to call Tezuka up. crossing his finger behind him, he hoped that Tezuka would agree to help him with his calculus work.

Seishun Gakuen Tennis Club~

"Seigaku! Fight!" All the freshman was shouting at the top of their lungs.

Fuji survey the surrounding with mild interest, looking around he notice Ryoma playing against Momo in court A. Oishi dragging the hyperactive Eiji away from a pissed looking Tezuka, Inui harassing the poor Kaidoh to try out his latest invention of the 'Inui's Juice' and Kawamura scaring several second-year out if their wits with his well- known burning serve and Hadoukyu.

He knew the practise was about to end as he caught sight of the darkening sky.

"All right, please assemble!" Tezuka called out as he nodded towards Ryusaki Sensei.

" I know that all of you have been practising hard for the upcoming match with Hyotei, but please do not overstrain yourself." Ryusaki sensei concluded and smiled at Fuji before dismissing them.

As soon as they were dismissed, Eiji dragged a reluctant Oishi towards the direction of the fast food restaurant.

"Momo!" Tezuka called out.
"Hai, buchou!" Momo replied as he trudged over to Tezuka.

Fuji felt that there's practically nothing for him to do, hence, he moved towards the school gate. The moment he stepped out of the school compound, he allow his mask to slip.

"Ne, Fuji-senpai! where are you heading to?" an arrogant asked from behind. Being thrown off guard, Fuji was startled out of his reverie.

"Echizen?" Fuji acknowledged the latter with unnerving smile.
"So, where are you heading to?" Ryoma asked again.
"Saa... home, I guess..." Fuji pondered for a second before answering.
"Oh... well, I'll see you tomorrow then. By the way, happy birthday to you!" Ryoma said quietly.

Fuji eyes grew wide as he hasn't expected it from Echizen. Deciding to tease the latter, he approached Ryoma and kiss the latter's forehead. Ryoma was dumbstruck and thrilled as he allow Fuji to explore his mouth, As it sends a burning sensation down his throat, he couldn't help but lost himself in the sea of passion.

Surrendering himself to Fuji, he tightened the hold on Fuji's neck as they continue tasting each other for what seems like eternity before letting each other off the hook. They break off their passionate kiss only when they're out of breath. Looking Fuji deep in the eyes, Ryoma allows the latter to lead him away from prying eyes to seek refuge in the privacy of their club room.

it was two years after the finals of kantou tournament against Rikaidai, Seigaku had made it through Zengoku tournament smoothly. Tezuka had rejoined the team shortly after the first match in the Zengoku daikai.

the formal Seigaku tennis club member had made it to Seigaku high, casting aside kawamura, the rest of them had of course, joined the high school tennis club.Ryoma, on the other hand had taken up the role of captain in the Seigaku junir high tennis club. Eiji was squealing happily in one corner of the court but stop aruptly as Oishi is spotted round the corner.

"Ne, Eiji! what are you doing here?" A voice startled Eiji out of his reverie.
"nandayo,Fuji! Naze anata wa kokoni no?" Are you trying to scare me out of my wits?" Eiji exclaimed in a gush.

"souka, demo... what are you planning?" Fuji asked.

"Eh...me, planning? what are you talking about?" Eiji drawled as he turned sharply round the corner trying to hide from the latter.

Not admitting defeat, Fuji pursued the matter further. He caught up with Eiji and approached the latter silently.

"Ne, Eiji! Oishi's B'dae is round the corner, isn't it?" Fuji asked, observing Eiji. Eiji flinched but ignored the latter's comment, sensing Eiji's thoughts, Fuji continues "Aren't you going to celebrate his birthday with him?" this stopped Eiji from ignoring the latter as Eiji blushes crimson at the comment been made. Reluctantly, Eiji reveal his plan to Fuji as he knew that the latter would continue harassing him for details if he's kept in the dark.

30th april XXXX arrived...

"Ne, Eiji! Are you free after school today?" Oishi asked as he approached the latter.

"Aa... Gomen, demo I'm meeting Momo for burgers." Eiji answered gleefully as he skipped away joyfully.

"Maa... seems like none of them remembered my birthday." Oishi mumbled to himself dejectedly.

unknowingly, Fuji is hiding behind the tree as he witness the scene enfolding.with a sprint, Fuji races to Oishi's house and prepared for their surprises. Everyone hid in the shadow until Oishi stepped in and closes the door.

"one, two, three! surprise!" they yelled in unison as Oishi switches on the light.

"minna.." Oishi was stunned, without saying anything. Eiji glomped Oishi from behind and said " Otanjobi Omedetto!" Everyone had a fun and joyous day.
