Vibrates in the memory

Odours,when sweet violets sicken

Live within the sense they quicken



Rose leaves,when the rose is dead

Are heaped for the beloved's bed

And so thy thoughts,when thou art gone

Love itself shall slumber on.

甘美的紫罗兰枯萎后

敏感的嗅空中萦绕花香


娇艳的蔷薇凋谢后

花瓣将撒遍爱人的床

同样地，你消逝后

思念将长眠长眷恋之乡

    春花秋月何时了？
    Spring flowers and autumn moon--when will they be ended?

    往事知多少。
    How many past events can we tell?

    小楼昨夜又东风，
    The east wind blew through my small lodge again last night.

    故国不堪回首月明中。
    The old country, bathed in a bright moon, Is an overwhelming sight!


    雕栏玉砌应犹在，
    Those carved balustrades, those marble terraces---

    只是朱颜改。
    They should still be there, Only the rosy cheeks have faded.

    问君能有几多愁，
    How much sorrow, pray, can a person carry?

    恰似一江春水向东流。
    Like the spring torrent flowing eastward, without tarry!
